I found this little place in the middle of corn fields, it looked like an old motel...lol. I had no idea if it was going to be the place for my mama ... however the second I stepped into the front doors...I had this feeling of relief wash over me. This was before I even face to face spoke with any of their staff. My mama had been dealing with a lot for months, hospital stays left and right, rehabilitation centers...if you know you know...so I wasn't sure if I would ever find a place I thought she would feel comfortable calling " home". I found it here in Flanagan IL. The staff ( all of them) are some of the most AMAZING people I have ever met. They loved my mama like she was part of their family. They never made me or her feel like she was just another " number" for money. They loved her, I felt it, she felt it and it was home. When it was time for my mama to promote to my guardian angel...they did everything to make this last chapter go smoothly. They cried with me, laughed with me and even though I don't think they realize...they held me up and helped to keep me strong. I can't find the exact words to describe just how amazing this was. I'm horrible about remembering names...so I will say thank you Kim for your top notch nurses ( I spoke with Kim a lot) so I can remember her. But I promise you everyone there, from admin, to techs, to nurse's ALL absolutely fabulous and loving. Thank you so very much for who you are and I pray everyday that God keeps you all safe and continuing to his work on this earth. I love you all always- Amber Hanson

My FIL was a resident at Flanagan Rehab. He was treated with dignity and respect at all times. He was complimentary of the food. His was very pleased with the care the nurses provided him. When his life was near the end, the staff was very cooperative in answering our family’s questions and contacting support as needed. The staff was very compassionate when the end of life was near. We were very glad that he was able to receive such good care at Flanagan Rehab.

My father-in-law was a resident recently at Flanagan Rehabilitation & Health Care Center. He had excellent care. They took care of everything. He was admitted because he could no longer stay at home alone. Once a resident, he was not only provided care for his daily physical needs, he also was included in social activities. He was closely monitored and he so enjoyed the interactions with staff-especially during pandemic lockdowns when no visitors were allowed due to safety concerns. I highly recommend this facility!

The people at this place took great care of my dad. The staff cared for him like family and he was always in good hands. I felt that he was safe and secure as they checked on his well being nearly constantly. This is a great place for a loved one-they take such good care with patients.
