The staff at Avalon is amazing! Most of the medical field had pretty much given up on my Father but not Avalon! He is now home with his family and walking due the care given to him there. Thank you so much and if you are looking for a place for your loved ones it is 100% where you want them to go. My Father is 89 years old and now has a good chance of making it past 90. NEVER BRING YOUR LOVED ONE HERE!!!!!!!!! DO YOUR RESEARCH ON THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!! Avalon view is the WORST nursing home/care facility I’ve ever been in. The condition of the nursing home is minor compared to the treatment the residents get. My mom was in hospice there and was supposed to be getting morphine every two hours on her deathbed to make her comfortable. They were having her go 12 plus hours at a time without it and would not assume responsibility for why they was not giving her the morphine. Furthermore, a large amount of money has come up missing from her ( that was going to pay funeral cost) and all the Current administrator would say is that the last administrator got walked out and fired due to neglect and embezzlement. I could write a whole book on this place and how the Residents suffer. The new administrator thinks putting paint on the walls is turning the place around. WARNING She is a liar and a manipulator. I’m going to wrap this up by saying this……. This place is a money factory that does not take care of the residence or does bare minimum. They have had the state in multiple times (over years) have been wrote up multiple times and at the end of the day. All they do is change their name again and start over.

Huge shout-out to Chrystie at Avalon! Chrystie has been working with me and our family for the last several weeks to get our father's financials in order so the facility can care for him. With no assistance from our father's wife, Chrystie worked tirelessly (before and after hours as well) to file Medicaid and streamline his income sources to make sure his residence was secured. We are forever grateful for what she has done and for her genuine care and concern for our father. Thanks again, Chrystie! You rock!

Dedicated, driven, professional staff that cares for residents as if it’s their favorite auntie. A plethora of daily activities keep the residents engaged and out of their rooms. It is very apparent management is working hard to rejuvenate a dated building.
