If I could report this as a 0 I would. My mom was admitted here and had a horrible experience. I voluntarily discharged her in less than 48 hours. I took her home until I could get her into another facility. It has been almost a week and no one from their leadership team has contacted me to ask why I discharged her. Although the staff was very nice, the expectations for her care did not meet expectations. After I told the nurse why I was taking her out, he tells me we are not a bad place. That comment in itself is concerning. I had a bad feeling when I left the first night. It started when I walked through the door. I should have went with my gut and took her with me. If I listed everything that was wrong, I would be writing a dissertation. My advice is do not let your loved one stay here.
The food is good! The pot roast is delicious! Becky does a great job making sure the residents have meals that are healthy and that they enjoy!
I wouldn’t let them care for my worst enemy. The place was filthy (I have pictures), her feet looked awful so I made an appt to take her to her podiatrist but they wouldn’t let me. They were rude to me and at one time refused to talk to me even tho my name was on her chart. And, yes I did report them. They told me they would do an investigation and that my name would not be mentioned but I don’t care if they know. Yes. I did it. They let her die by not getting her the help she needed when she first got sick.
My mom, Millie Ulrich was a resident at the Woodland's Brickysrd sine 2022:22- April 24, 2024. Excellence, kindness, and compassion are words that I’d use to describe her care, and the whole staff there. The very best care facility in the area for sure! Sherry L. Gregory -daughter and POA
This facility is the only one I would recommend to others. My grandma lived there for 2 years and always received the best care!
