Medicare Coverage: Medicare covers skilled nursing facility care for up to 100 days following a qualifying hospital stay of at least 3 days. Days 1-20 are fully covered by Medicare, days 21-100 require a daily coinsurance payment. Many residents also use Medicaid, private insurance, or pay privately for long-term stays.

Questions to Ask: When visiting a nursing home, ask about: staff-to-resident ratios and RN coverage around the clock, how they handle medical emergencies, activities and therapy programs, how they communicate with families, their approach to falls prevention, and policies for managing resident complaints.

Wow, Kathy & I have been here 16 months. Time flies when you are having fun. Our welcoming committee, new neighbors and new friends are the best. They have made for a wonderful transition. Attentive service from a warm friendly staff deserves applause. So many from front office, kitchen, servers, house keeping, maintenance and more. Activities are numerous. Art classes, sing alongs, billiards, putting and volunteering to sing and play the piano for assisted living and healthcare residents are among the activities we truly enjoy. If you are looking for an excellent senior independent living facility, give Aberdeen Village a call and schedule a tour. You will be impressed!

My mom is currently there and if I could give it less than one star I would! To be out of state and to know she has such poor care is heart wrenching! Not getting medications accurately or on time or even when requested, she is there for rehab and is 1000% in her right mind! The food has been atrocious to say the least and normally cold when she gets it. She is afraid to say anything because she is afraid of getting worse care but I do not think that is possible! For Christmas they had ham jerky!!! (Cold of course)

I would like to take this time to thank you Aberdeen Village for the care you provided my sister Beverly while she was under your care. You where the 3rd facility before we found the right place for my sister to live out her days, she entered a resident and you embraced her as family. I would gladly recommend Aberdeen to be considered for the final care of your love ones.

Aberdeen could not have been a better place for our mother. Care was excellent and always caring. Mother’s room was always clean. Mother was there for nearly 10 years and there was very little staff turnover. The whole staff became almost like family. Would highly recommend Aberdeen !!
