The location in the midst3of north hill complex is a big plus. There are dozens of restaurants within walking distance as well as a grocery, taffeta store, movie theater, Walgreens and many other stores and shops. But the real treasure at the cardinal is the genuinely friendly, caring and competent staff. They .make this place a great experience. They are all cheerful and eager to help. Within a day or two they knew my name and important parts of my situation so they could help me as I made my way thru my day. They are the key to this place feeling like my home rather than simply a senior facility. This is the kind of place where you want to move o into too soon rather than too late.
I cannot speak highly enough about The Cardinal at North Hills! My parents lives are easier (less bills & house maintenance!), giving them more time and energy for all of the fun activities and outings offered. The staff are all incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful. My kids love the food, indoor pool and putting green when they stay for sleepovers. My parents are so happy that they even persuaded my in-laws to also move in!
