My 100 year-old grandma recovered from a recent hip fracture at Providence Rehab from February-April this year. It is thanks to the excellent care and therapy that Nan received at Providence that she is up and walking again, and on her way home tomorrow. Our family is amazed! When I did have a concern about Nan's care it was addressed and corrected immediately. (Thank you, Aarin!) Sarah, Johnna, and Bailey in PT were especially attentive as well. The facility is clean and welcoming and doesn't have an odor. Nan loved the daily visits from the Sisters and communion offered from the priest every Wednesday. Thank you, Providence Rehab Team!
My 90 plus father had rehab at Providence three times in 2023 and 2024. My father, mother and I can be quite a handful, each in our own way. My father had such skillful and kind care he made progress in health and strength in record time every visit. All of us were treated with courtesy, understanding and an immense amount of patience. In such a difficult and thankless business that is often disparaged, the staff and administrators at Providence exhibit the epitome of excellence and professionalism.
In dark times Providence Health at the Woods offers a beacon of light filled with hope and love, on the way to physical recovery. It’s easy to see that God exists. He works with and through the people who work here. You can see Him in the friendly smiles of the staff, the expertise of the care they provide, and their willingness to consistently go far above and beyond for their patients. There is no better place for a person to start their road to physical recovery than Providence Health at Saint Mary’s in West Terre Haute. We are so fortunate that my dad was able to rehabilitate his hip at this excellent facility that provided us with a wonderful experience. During dad’s stay at Providence we got to know CNA’s Madison, Miranda, Hannah, Sydney, Kristen, Tammy, and Hope. Physical Therapists Louella and Bailee. Occupational Therapists Sarah and Kristen. Speech Therapist Lorrie. RN’s Kathy, Cathy, Connie, Mary, and Cassi. Rehab Unit Manager Emma. Transportation Michelle. Admissions Eden and Discharge and Activities Aarin. All of these ladies give a great attention to detail and care. They’re all A+ care givers and they were there for dad and our family in the times we needed them the most. To everyone at Providence thank you for taking the time to get know my dad, understand his language and communicate with him, and for being patient with your patients. Thank you for your transparency and kindheartedness. Thank you to everyone for the greetings every time I came to visit. Special thanks to you again Mary for making an extra trip to the hospital to retrieve dad’s glasses when he left them behind. Eden for helping us get dad admitted and re-admitted when dad struggled with his blood pressure and kidney disease. Michelle for the excellent communication in getting dad to his Dr appointments. And to Aarin for keeping a Redbull handy, wearing so many different hats, and meeting the patient’s needs. It’s incredibly easy for me to say if I had a thousand options on where to send a loved one for physical rehab I’d choose Providence every day of the week and twice on Sunday.
The entire staff at Providence is wonderful! They have taken wonderful care of our loved one after his various medical adventures. We are able to compare his care here versus other facilities and absolutely CHERISH Providence Health Care. Thank you all for the care and love you put into this industry.
They treated my dad really well. I would like to recognize Gavin, Jacob, Cassie, and Ashley Price. I feel these 4 went above and beyond. Thank you so much.
