I had a lot of reason I did not approve what they did to my mother with been there since 2020. They did not treat her right. They did not take better care of my mother nurses aid Allowed to treat people like that and I feel sorry for their loved ones has been treating really bad and that’s not their responsible was treating to someone else’s loved ones. I have so many complain since 2020. And I will never forgive them and let my mom sleep for 3 1/2 days. They never even bother to check on her. They did not give her a bath they did not. Help her Feed her all I do ignore her and I are very rude and I have stood up for her the way they treat her and other patient And I have seen a quite a bit of a patient. They were just trying to get their attention and most nurses are just ignoring. Them and I don’t think that’s right I guess a lot of hospital treat their patient respect why can’t the nurses home should do the same And you know every time I went to see my mother my mom been wanting to go home so bad and they did not let her go when they did other people, but Joe wouldn’t Right so we have a lot of complain, so I’m gonna tell you never put your little one there can’t be trusted I still miss my mom every day and I’m never forget this place. They’re mean and cruel I’d advise you not to send your loved ones there keeping it in your home and take better care I will never forget this facility. I’ve still grieve over my mother and I still this day with my mom died September 28 and 2020. I will never forget these people they cost my mother‘s death

Had my mom in there less than 24 hrs. Was sent there for therapy for a fall , she is 88 yo). I had her transferred from Southwood to another facility and the progress she made there at the new facility, was incredible. She told cna/nurse that she had to go to the bathroom. They told her to go in her depends, they were short handed. She asked them to call me and they refused and when she complained , they told her " we will be her long after your gone" The room looked like a jail cell, the bed was up against the wall, a curtain was pulled between her and the roommate, which had dementia, and she was next to the bathroom, The roommate left the door open to the bathroom while she was using it. She couldn't see outside, all she could see was the wall to her right, the curtain at her feet And the bathroom to her left. I will be filing a complaint with the state. They stated she was AMA , actually Southwood, she was transferred. You need to treat your clients better. My heart goes out to the ones who have no choice but to stay. Awful experience. Didn't want to give any stars but it won't let you post unless you do.

I am a caregiver that has a client at this facility, when my client with Alzheimer’s was told they don’t have room for her in the activities center because “they had enough people” and “not enough space for her” by the activities director AND another resident of the facility I felt it might be time to re assess the needs of my client as to her needs and how we can meet them as well ! We kindly walked out and no one bothered to try to make room for her or to resolve the situation in any way. The fact they were fine with picking and choosing who stays and who doesn’t get to was just fine with them. SAD REALLY !!! Very disappointing 😞 her first time actually trying to attend activities since she arrived and wasn’t even allowed to ! Thank goodness one of the nurses actually cared enough to ask why ? And tried to resolve the situation kudos to her she DESERVES a raise for caring enough to say something !!!!!

It is easy for us to believe these poor reviews considering how our family member was treated there. And even the way they handled the Christmas present we sent there that just missed arriving before her discharge. Had called to see if they could pick it up or if it could be forwarded to her local address there. They just returned it all the way to Oregon after receiving thousands of dollars from insurance. They didn’t even care enough fir the patient to make a phone call to her.

This place is absolutely deplorable. If they tried to fail to would succeed more than they did with me. I was there less than 24 hours. My boyfriend had me shipped back to the hospital. Not once did they check my bloodstream. They only checked my vitals once upon admittance. I was coughing up blood, and their answer to that was to stick me in a glorified broom closet and forget about me. Needless to say, my boyfriend had many things to say to the night shift nurse who came back in and tried to justify her complete incompetence. . I went there in good health. I left there not being able to breathe. .
