Sunnyside Manor is a wonderful place. After my father’s fall at the end of July, we got him admitted to Sunnyside Manor’s in-patient physical therapy rehab. It became clear he could not return home alone, so we began searching for an assisted living facility, that he could age-in-place. He liked Sunnyside Manor so much that he asked to stay there. After considering other facilities, we knew Sunnyside Manor’s assisted living community was the best place for him. The staff has been incredible supportive and accommodating throughout the entire process. Even though I am out of town, they made sure the transition was smooth and easy not only for him but also for me. My father loves his unit, enjoys walking on the outside path, and has made friends with other residents. He has mentioned several times how nice and helpful the staff is, as well as how good the food is. The amazing staff at Sunnyside Manor has given me peace of mind knowing that he is safe and well-cared for. I highly recommend Sunnyside Manor for anyone in need of an age-in-place facility for their loved ones.

My mother chose to live at Sunnyside Manor and we couldn’t be any happier. The staff is friendly and attentive. My mother is thriving and has done complete turn around in her life. She has told me numerous times how much she loves living there. She also said that the residence and staff are all friendly and she feels so at home. She loves the food and the activities that they have there. I recommend Sunnyside Manor to anyone that is looking for a wonderful place for their parent to live. Brian Kane.

My mother made the decision to move into Sunnyside Manor assisted living community. It turned out to be the right choice! Sunnyside was built with a lot of open space, great courtyard and patios. The facility is clean, bright and cheerful. Very welcoming! Lots of activities- the location is close to the beach and all things “the shore” in addition to Sunnyside’s daily activities and entertainment. The management and staff are attentive, respectful and address my mother’s concerns. We feel assured that she is safe and in good hands. I would recommend Sunnyside Manor to friends and relatives.

When looking at assisted living alternatives for my father, we visited several local options. Sunnyside Manor was by far the best choice for us. Friendly, engaging staff and a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment with a variety of activities were the things that made the choice clear. Since that time, we have moved from assisted living to memory care. The staff made this transition seamless for us and my father is doing well in his new environment. I visit frequently and am always greeted with a warm welcome. The staff is attentive and always provide updates on my father and his care. While minor issues arise now and then, I have confidence and experience that mentioning them to the staff ensures these things are resolved promptly. Sunnyside Manor was our choice 2+ years ago. A heartfelt thank you to all the Sunnyside Manor team for reaffirming daily that we made the right choice.

Moving your loved ones into a “care facility” is never easy. I know, I’ve had to find Assisted Living for my Mom, Dad and Uncle in the past 4 years. I thought Sunnyside would be a good fit for my 97 year old Uncle who was close to needing Skilled Nursing Care. Four years later, at 101, he has actually improved over the years to the lower levels of Assisted Living at Sunnyside. The caring staff, from nursing down to admin, combined with engaging entertainment and activities have made Sunnyside a wonderful home for my Uncle. When my Dad fell 2 years later and also needed assistance, I gave him several options, but he and my Mom asked if they could reside at Sunnyside too. The socialization, expert care, in-house rehab and therapy options, well maintained premises good food and family atmosphere are some of the many reasons that they, and I, have been happy we made this choice. But it was when my Dad passed a few months ago, that I realized what a true blessing Sunnyside was. The compassion of the staff, hospice experience and support for my Mom helped to get my entire family through a very difficult time and I realized with certainty that I had made the right choice.
