My dad was there for about 2 weeks. He stayed in the gown from the hospital for a week. He was out of pain medication for 4 days. He had a doctors appointment to get his staples out went to the appointment they admitted him in the hospital his leg was out of place he had to have another surgery. They called my mom at 12 at night to ask where my dad was. The hospital admitted him. I wanted to talk to my dad’s nurse she came in and didn’t know anything said she had to go read chart. Not the place to put a loved one! One day I was there a patient got locked in rehab room no one knew the code to get her out. They called several people to get code to get patient out.
Waycross Health and Rehab does a great job managing patients needing long term care. Thank you for your commitment to quality.
This place is a huge mess! The Top nursing staff in the office Rose, and Lisa I think are two of their names they are never working. Every time I come to visit a resident I love dearly in that place (I won’t name her to keep her safe) they are in the office laughing and having a good time. I once seen them telling the CNA’s what to do then walking off laughing. Going back to the office area to just chill. The residents are always sick and I mean sick with covid, and god knows what else. I’m trying to figure out how they get it when they don’t leave the building!?! My loved one is sick right now with Covid this is why I’m writing this I’m sick of it. Why are the infected residents doors open? Why are workers still at work sick? This place is a damn disgrace KEEP YOUR LOVE ONES AWAY FROM HERE. This place of only a death trap. You don’t want people you care about in here!! You will regret it. I was talking to another residents son who can’t to visit the other day and he said his dad stays sick and he’s about to call state because the nurses aren’t doing their job they only want titles and pay and nothing else. I don’t blame him honestly I think I am too. You’ve been warned! Protect your love ones and go check on them ASAP. Those nurses need to be fired!!
My mother Inlaw was there her health declined so fast she had bad bed sores that wasn’t attending to she would always have 💩 on her with flies flying around her and the room would be so stink from her bowel movement I still have nightmares about that place the worst mistake was placing her in that facility I have pictures to prove the bed sores but I would never post them on line it was a awful experience and the staff wasn’t compassionate her clothes and personal items disappeared even lost her dentures I can go on and on I want to report them so bad I feel bad that my husband made a decision to place her there
This is the worst place ever!! Beds falling apart furniture is so old and disgusting and dirty. Never check on patients. My mom broke her humerus close to her shoulder and really needed assistance getting out of bed but she did not get that for the four days she was there so we took her out.
