Overnight Caregiver

Established in 2009, our locally-owned and operated assisted living memory care homes are in search of experienced and compassionate caregivers to work awake overnight Caregiving shifts on a full time or part time basis. Shifts are 12 hours from 6:30pm to 6:30am. Position is to take care of 8 seniors with dementia and cognition challenges. This person understands the importance of meeting the needs of our residents while helping them maintain a high quality of life. We are looking for committed individuals who are compassionate, have good communication skills, ethical and are able to problem solve on the spot. What you will do as an Overnight Caregiver - We will train you and get you prepared to be successful in your role. Treat residents like you would treat your own family members Caregiver responsibilities: - Enhance the lives of older adults by assisting with personal care, including dressing, mobility, administering medication, and personal hygiene - Documentation responsibilities and report any changes in client’s health status - QMAP medication pass - Ensure highest client safety and well-being - Looking for individuals who are passionate, caring, and dependable caregivers. - Meal preparation/cooking responsibilities. - Daily household cleaning and laundry responsibilities Caregiver skills: - Prefer Current and valid first aid and CPR certification - Must have experience working with the elderly and experience with Alzheimer's and Dementia - Current QMAP certification, or willingness to get the certification soon after starting. We will help you to get the certification. - Current CPR/First Aid certification, we will help you to get the certification.
