The staff at Barron Care & Rehab were so kind and caring. From the administration to the social worker to the nurses to the aids, they all treated Dad with dignity and respect. Having had an awful experience with a different facility previously, we were anxious about bringing our Dad to another rehab center. Our experience was as different as night and day - and our fears were calmed on the first day. They provided care and compassion in a way that you would want your loved one cared for. They took us in and treated us like family. They genuinely cared about Dad - and about us -and it showed in every one of their interactions. They went out of their way to make Dad and our family feel at home, while providing the care that he needed. We highly recommend Barron Care & Rehab.
I think that barron care and rehab beats any place around wisconsin.lynn and keyton are the sweetest people you'll ever wanna know. They're class A in my book. Very clean and neat place.
They don't do a very good job of taking care of my loved one. I am glad my loved one is going to be released in a week. They don't walk him like they are supposed to. Only from his room to the cafeteria once a day and it's supposed to be four times a day. They were trying to put a catheter in him until my grandma told them not to. They even tried to after she told them not to. My grandpa went to the doctor to have the catheter removed and the next day the staff tried to put it back in him. They have put it in without a doctor at the nursing home or without orders from his doctor. When my grandpa has to go to the bathroom he will push the button for help and it takes them 15 to 30 minutes before they come and help him. By the time they get to him he has an accident or he goes to the bathroom by himself. I have had to help him once in awhile cause the staff won't. But if my grandpa's roommate pushes the button the staff is there right away. His roommate tattles on him often if my grandpa goes to the bathroom or has the TV too loud. One of the residents that can't talk will make a lot of noise but they don't do anything about that. My grandma took him home for a night and a day and my grandpa was happier at home. He even ate everything on his plate that my grandma dished up for him. When he is at the nursing home he only eats one or two things and that's it
To all my friends and the whole staff 06-02-15 I thank you all again for the wonderful care I received from you all while I was there. You are all a great bunch of people working together. I tell everyone about the facility and recommend it to anyone in need. I am feeling pretty good although my back is pretty touchy at times. I will stop in and see you all soon. Sincerely, Carol Hazelton
Treated us like family and taking amazing care of our beloved family matriarch.
