If there was a choice of zero stars that would be our choice. From the patients freezing without proper bedding, sitting in their feces causing the entire hallway to smell for hours as we visited and then returned two hours later to the same patient still crying out to be changed, to the less than sufficient meals-a quarter sized muffin, child sized applesauce cup and what looked like someone had opened a can of chunky chicken soup and poured a quarter cup on a plate. There were 2 chunks of chicken, two peas and three carrots. They weren't aware of who we were as to be able to visit without a show because one of our fathers was there. From walking in the front door, rude staff or simply no staff, to staff telling us it wasn't a good place to work to a staff telling us 'don't worry about her, she doesn't like anyone' when asked why a woman was crying and being ignored. When I walked in and said 'hello' her entire attitude changed and the staff smarted off and walked out. The person we were there to visit, on four occasions, walked in, healthy, sound mine and all his faculties and was dead within a few short months. He was scrawny, begged us to get him out of there and were denied even though he was of sound mind. He ended up falling and sat in a chair for four days before they notified family. He had multiple UTIs which he was in great health when he entered. He was given medications that were supposedly prescribed by their doctor but never his own doctor. We were there to see medication brought in mid day when he never had it then and when asked, staff stated 'whenever we get time.' Bad attitudes from staff quickly surfaced when asking questions. We cannot recommend this facility to anyone.
