I visited this home recently and was genuinely impressed. The place is spotless and feels very welcoming from the moment you walk in. The staff members are incredibly kind, patient, and truly seem to care about the residents. You can tell they go above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable and at home. If you’re looking for a clean, warm, and supportive environment for yourself or a loved one, I would highly recommend checking this place out.
The food is the absolute worst. They are always short staffed because staff is always calling in sick and it doesn’t seem like they have a reserve list of staff they call; therefore the residents suffer from their short sightedness. Some of the management team do not seem to be interested in doing their job to the best of their ability. They have staff meetings that doesn’t seem to make involve all care takers and the right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing.
Well we’re nearly 6 months in and we’re even MORE impressed than we were initially with the care, empathy and personal touch of this facility. Ashley, the nurse supervisor, is one of the most competent nurses we’ve ever met. Nelson, Jessica Q., Melissa, Kayla, Joanna, Amy, Taylor and Nan provide the absolute best nursing care. These individuals are skilled, empathetic, responsive and some of the most caring professionals we have ever encountered. Jen (scheduling and transportation) is amazing and incredibly accommodating! Bill is a competent and responsive Business Manager. Joann and Stephanie offer a diverse and exciting line-up of activities each and every day that keep Mom busy and entertained. They are so sweet and fun. She even started asking visitors to come outside of activities! Lastly, Kengie is phenomenal as well. A caring and incredibly capable administrative professional, willing to help with anything. While this was a very difficult time and definitely not a decision we wanted to have to make, we are confident we chose the best place for Mom. Highly, HIGHLY recommend.
Mountain Top Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center goes above and beyond with making your stay very person-centered. Activities, Therapy, Social Services, and the Clinical support team truly take care of your loved one during their stay!
