This facility has some of the most dedicated and long term staff a corporation could dream for. Full of hard workers that go above and beyond. They do not get the recognition they deserve. The untrained eye doesn’t see all they actually do. Because they work from the heart for the residents. Not for the likes. I couldn’t be more thankful for each and every one of the workers that show up and work hard to do the work they do. Caring for the ones that need to be in a skilled facility for whatever reasons. Thankful to have a local skilled facility that provides quality care from the heart.

I was very disappointed when I went into Pruitt Health- Trent. I was told that the elevator was down, so my arrival date was changed. Upon seeing the elevator, I could only imagine the devastation that would occur if it happened during an emergency. This place was kaotic. You would think that everyone was in competition for the loudest tv. This continued until late into the night. I caught the night person (NA ?) She never introduced herself;on two occasions trying to rummage through my things.Later I called for assistance to the bathroom; I had just had two major surgeries, therefore not being able to go by myself. Thirty (30-45) minutes later, I hadn't gotten the help. Risking my safety I decided to go alone; I made it there, but only inside the door, soiling myself. The woman later returned to ask me if I need something; smelling like a cigarette factory, I replied no, and told her why. I had cleaned myself up, to the best of my ability, and made it back in bed. This all happened by the grace of God! To sum it up, I would give a zero if possible. There is a lot more to my experience, but it would take too long to tell.

My mom was released to do physical therapy with Pruitthealth-Trent from her back surgery received on September 24th and the 26th, 2025. She arrived there October 3, 2025. That night my mom pressed her call button and they turned it off and responded after 30 minutes of her call. She urinated on herself three times trying to go to the bathroom with no walker or anything, so she had to hold on to the bed, then the dresser and still didn’t make it in time. She cleaned up herself and shouldn’t be bending or twisting because she just had major surgery on her back. Her medication wasn’t given to her and she didn’t even receive food for that night. The only food she had, was the food from the Hospital in Chapel Hill she brought with her. My mom told me that she heard male voices who didn’t sound like patients and she didn’t feel safe. My mother said that several times someone tried to get her wallet and other belongings in her bag when they thought that she was sleeping. Then they pretended to be helping her roommate when she cleared her throat to let them know that she wasn’t sleep. She also stated that the staff smelled of cigarette smoke and it’s a no smoking facility. I do not recommend this facility to patients of any kind! The daytime staff seemed concerned for my mom’s well being, but not the night shift. They are thieves and very neglectful! The staff is also unprofessional with giving the patients their medication out in the hall right next to the front desk, asking them “do they want it or not”? Again DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY!!!

My mother has been in and out of rehab for the last four months. This facility is by far the best. The previous facility sent her home in worse shape than she was admitted. When she arrived home from PruiteeHealth she actually came home not just in better shape but in better spirits. They treated her well and it shows. This is definitely where I would send her again for care and/or rehab.

Such a great place. My Mother was here at one point of her life. This group became family and still remain as friends and family to this day. She enjoyed her stay while she was there.
