Good job getting everyone out safe last night ladies. Happy to know they were able to move all those patients to safety without anyone getting hurt. Someone should be looking into giving raises to those who went above and beyond last night during the evacuation.

CARELESS NEGLECTFUL LAZY UNPROFESSIONAL. If I could give zero stars, I would. My 90 year old grandmother was transferred here from a wonderful nursing home where she had been doing well but had complaints of arthritic pain. Since arriving at this facility, her condition has gone downhill rapidly due to neglect and a serious lack of proper care. She depends on staff for bathroom assistance, but they ignore/delay helping her to the point where she was forced to hold her urine repeatedly?????? This led to a urinary tract infection something incredibly dangerous at her age. When we asked about her being tested, we were told they had “spilled her urine,” and no testing had been done. Now they’re claiming she’s confused and has dementia when her confusion and delirium started AFTER the UTI yet instead of treating the infection, they claimed she had dementia. She was totally mentally sharp before this. The decline we’ve seen is from their neglect, not her health. DO NOT BRING YOUR LOVED ONES HERE IF YOU WANT THEM TO BE CARED FOR PROPERLY.

this was the worst facility I’ve ever seen or heard of. My grandma was severely NEGLECTED. We had to fly across the country to check on her in the 20 days she was there because of how badly neglected she was. We had her removed by ambulance and taken to the ER, and now we are flying back AGAIN to make sure she’s okay and WONT be going back to that place. Her health declined within the 20 days of their care. Isn’t this a REHAB FACILITY?! She went there with general body pain. She left with MULTIPLE FALLS, IGNORED UTI LEADING TO DELIRIUM AND ELEVATED BLOOD PRESSURE, UNBATHED, UNFED, her roommate at some point ended up with her cell phone leading us to freak out because she was telling us wrong info!! If she rang to go to the bathroom they would take 30-40 minutes to get to her. The REFUSED physical therapy because she was still in her pajamas… BECAUSE SHE NEEDED HELP GETTING DRESSED!!! So where does this sound like she got rehabilitated?? WE ALSO WITNESSED SOME OF THIS IN PERSON! We even had a “MEETING” with the team to discuss her neglect and they just kept saying “we will write that down”… the next day we removed her in an ambulance because it did not in fact get better! STAY AWAY FROM HERE. I feel so bad for anyone who doesn’t have family to check in on them while they are at this place. UPDATE: she went here with some body pain hoping she would be rehabilitated, left with a BLOOD INFECTION, and literally passed away a few days later after leaving this facility. I’m at a loss for words.

I am beyond thankful for Somerset Ridge. I made a terrible mistake by placing my 91 yr old dad in a different horrible nursing home rehab facility. I realized it immediately and panicked. What have I done??? My dad was in Somerset Ridge rehab a year ago and did extremely well there so I called the admissions director Abby whom I had never met and expressed to her my terrible fear of my father being in this other very very bad facility and I was desperate to get him out of there. Abby quickly calmed my fears and anxiety and went way about and beyond to make it happen. And again I had never met Abby. The compassion she showed for my family was remarkable. My dad arrived at the bad nursing home on Friday, I started speaking with Abby on Monday and by Wednesday my dad was in Somerset Ridge Center. I am still amazed at how fast Abby made it happen and will be forever grateful to her. My dad is presently there now so once his rehab is finished I will write another review. So far he has had exceptional care from every department including management. Everyone includes my family in everything regarding my father. When I leave my dad every day I feel good knowing he is there with an incredible staff. Also... pressing a call button and never having to wait for someone truly goes a long way! From the bottom of my heart.... Thank you Abby and Somerset Ridge. Claire Stone
