This place is not where you want your loved ones to go. Our family wanted to care for my grandmother who had dementia but she would not have it. She picked this nursing home because she had worked there at some point in her nursing career. We lost her Sunday, the hospital told our family a week ago she was brought in unresponsive. She was septic from bladder infection that had not been treatment since September 2023 on top of pneumonia. Once admitted into the hospital, they told us there was nothing they could do, due to her age and her kidneys had shut down at this point due to lack of fluids and food. The hospital told us our grandmother was starved for some time. A few days at the hospital, we were told she had to be moved back to the nursing home for hospice due to lack of beds at the hospital. After her passing, my family went in to gather her things from this nursing home, she had a storage in the back of the facility and just about everything she owned was stolen. A ring that was over a 100 years old that been passed down in our family. Half of her belongings were just gone with no explanation from the nursing home. Except 🤷🏼♀️…. This place is not where you want your loved ones, our grandmother was thriving with dementia less than a year ago, healthy… September 2023, she stopped being cared for. The hospital doctor said he treated her then and she was not in September 2023. She was starved and was not given fluids. I hope and pray that you reconsider your options before placing someone you love here.
My father past away here early hrs on Sunday April 6 th 2025 as my father was in sound mind the day prior when he spoke to my mother they dident care to listen to my father as he has expressed that his potassium was extremely high witch is very dangerous as they did nothing at all my father end up losing his life because of it I spoke to Tara as I am out of state and I have expressed to her I hold all power of attorney in all fields as I also faxed her all PROFF and demand my fathers belongings she claims she is the administrator of the building, she refused to give me her upper boss’s last name even went to Great Lakes to explain to me that she didn’t know how to spell it today is Tuesday and I still haven’t heard a word from them this is my fathers life we are talking about about this place has very bad reviews I will be obtaining a lawyer
My father has been a resident at MTCC for four years. No facility is perfect. But, I am pleased with the care my father has received. The employees are generally caring and helpful. The food is good. The staff genuinely care and try to accommodate the resident's wishes. They have a dementia unit and the staff work very hard to try to keep it cheery and the residents safe. I appreciate their efforts.
Called for the first time to check on my mom. When the nurse answered the phone from the start she was very rude and throwed hippa in my face from the start when I asked if this is where my mom was she said I can't tell you cause of hippa. I asked her how do I find out and she finally said after arguing with me that you can start by telling me your name. After I told her she was one of a kind she said no I wasn't and hung up on me. This is the worst nursing home I've ever experienced and I feel awful my mom is even there. Please don't take any family here if at all necessary.
My 76 year old grandmother was sent here for rehab after hip surgery on april 3,2019. They neglected her so bad it is going to kill her she was brought into the hospital on May 11,2019 with 7 bedsores 3 the size of small plates with the bone exposed the hospital took pictures and called the police. They starved her to the point she is emaciated. She has ELBS and MRSA. From the lack of care they started comfort care / end of life protocol today May 14, 2019!! Please do not take your family there she is suffering and dying a long horrific death every single person who is employed there could have helped her and instead turned a blind eye *update ** She passed due to sepsis from her wounds on Saturday May 18,2019. We buried her today on May23,2019 RIH My Angel!!
