Reviews
I just want to say with the experience of my father being in hospice at the Ranch Post Acute center it was very reassuring that he was getting the care he needed. No neglect nor abuse were present. I know that is a worry of mine as well as others when having their loved in in a facility. Management was great and not hard to get a hold of when needed. Overall the staff was great, very professional, knowledgeable, kind , sympathic, and caring. The staff did not act like they didn't want to be there as i've seen/withess some places. I'm glad was dad was in good hands with good people and especially his nurse Nina, she was amazing and made it easy for my family and I be reassure that he was taken care of and in goods hands. Not only that but very comforting during my dads last days..The facility was kept clean and seemed very welcoming towards those who were visiting their loved. Usually I don't leave reviews but I believe this place needed one from how great they are!
I was in town visiting a long time family friend. From where I was, I could hear someone talking can't help to notice derogatory words being used (F word) When people started to leave the room, I saw staff members. I immediately felt so bad on how they were spoken upon. The speaker was very unprofessional. I have nothing negative to say about the care being rendered. But I believe employees must be treated with dignity as well. I am inclined to notify the state or ombudsman about the treatment but I would like for the management to address this matter first.
The nursing staff at Vacaville Ranch Post Acute treated my dad with so much respect and they were so attentive to his needs. We loved every nurse there, I wish I could name them all. Sam spent a lot of time taking care of my dad and was an amazing nurse. It was sweet to see how highly he spoke of her. Several nurses advocated for him and reached out to the doctors to get changes in his care that made a huge difference in his health. He formed relationships with the staff and had so much confidence in the care they were giving him. They have a lot of patients to take care of but they were always right there whenever we needed something and never made us feel like he was a burden. My dad’s attitude changed during his stay there and he was actually happy there. The physical therapist and occupational therapists started working with him when he was bed bound and pushed him to be able to gain his independence and to be able to walk again. They were so encouraging and really motivated him to work on his strength. To be honest, this is probably the most exercise he’s ever had and I completely credit their therapists for his improvements and his motivation. Courtney and Taylor allowed our family to be involved in his care and kept us updated on everything he had going on. They helped us to meet our goals and kept us well informed with every step of his care. The owner Aaron even checked in on us and personally asked us to reach out if there was anything we needed. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience at Vacaville Ranch Post Acute. Thank you to everyone there for helping our family and taking care of my dad.
My father ended up very sick at kaiser for 2 weeks and went from being independent to not being able to walk or take care of himself. The physical therapy at kaiser seemed non existent and they let him get to the worst condition of his life. When we heard he was transitioning to a skilled nursing facility we were concerned for all the horror stories weve heard about these facilities in general. I am an emergency nurse and we frequently receive patients who are poorly cared for at some facilities. I assume that whoever is reading this is researching because someone you love may be needing similar care or services. We were so lucky and blessed that my father came to this facility. The staff was amazing, he received safe and effective medical care to transition him off of oxygen and get him back home to his family. Their occupational and physical therapy was amazing. We honestly thought he would not be able to leave his bed and they worked with him and got him walking again. At kaiser we felt my father was being neglected. At Vacaville Ranch Post Acute we loved how attentive they were and he even loved the food, so thank you also to the kitchen staff. This is an older facility that they are still updating so dont judge it for the small things. It is a beautiful facility overall. They have what really matters. Great management. Great staff. We are happy to have our father back and we have you all to thank.
My grandma had a stay here and the staff was great. She didn't want them to shower her and they let me come in and do it with the nurse. They are very caring and kind. They took great care of her.
